The SDG Global Indicator Framework contains 231 unique indicators. 50 of them concern women and girls and/or based on sex. Although the indicators are essential for assisting governments to implement SDG 5 and other Goals states lag behind in sex-disaggregated data collection. Also new challenges have emerged impeding such data collection. 

Our event will look at historic and emerging barries to SDG sex-disaggregated data collection as well as good examples improving a successful implementation.
